CMA Report

CMA – Credit Monitoring Arrangement report is an analysis which prepared by the borrower to submit to bank for availing loan and after getting loan for monitoring.

For arranging working capital finance information about income, expenses, assets & liabilities is required to be given in a specific format to the bank by applicant. This specific format is referred to as CMA Report / CMA Data. Audited P & L A/c & Balance Sheet of at least last 1 year, estimates of current year & projections of next at least 2 years are provided to bank by the applicant along with Funds Flow Statement, Ratio Analysis, and Comparative Statement of Current Assets & Finance. Number of years for which data is required may vary from bank to bank. Even after getting the finance such data is required to be submitted to the bank periodically.

Features

Details of existing and proposed fund limit: This report is prepared for current financial condition, borrowed and proposed fund. For new business proposed funds are required.

Operating statement: Past 2 years and future 3 years (Proposed) operating statements (Profit and loss account) are required to show in this. There may be some changes as per loan needed and business nature.

Balance Sheet Analysis: Balance sheet of past years and proposed balance sheet of future year need to be shown in this. Details about current assets, fixed assets, current and long-term liabilities are presented in this statement.

Comparative statements of current assets and liabilities: This statement describes the viability of your working capital cycle.

Calculation of MPBF: There are two ways to prepare same, it shows capacity of borrower to borrow money.

Fund flow statements and Ratio Analysis: Fund Flow shows fund utilisation and this needs to be prepared for current and future years. Key ratio like Current Ratio, Net worth Ratio, Turnover Ratio, and Quick Ratio etc. needs to be shown in this.
